The team at Are You Bored Yet Productions alongside the team behind the short film "MODA" and Moonlight Studios, are proud to announce the second edition of The Unknown Filmmakers Film Festival.

The idea to create a festival sprung in early 2025. The goal was to provide a budget friendly alternative for up and coming filmmakers to screen their projects, while at the same time helping another filmmaker's vision come to life.
​
Last year, the first edition of the festival was an overwhelming success . Incredible films were screened and the now critically acclaimed short "The Unknown Soldier", directed by Aviel Kurulkar & Javier Alfaro, was able to come to life.
This year all the proceeds will go towards the creation of the short film "MODA", a Hong Kong style Kung Fu film with massive aspirations.

We aim to create a professional space where short films are not just screened, but experienced, where storytellers can connect directly with viewers, receive meaningful feedback, and be part of a growing creative community.
Networking
Beyond the screenings, this festival is also a space for collaboration, networking, and future opportunities. Our goal is not only to showcase short films but to support the amazing filmmakers behind them and help build momentum for their next projects.
